Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global breakthroughs into the Latin popular music scene. In the year 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In 2017, he dropped ADN which was his debut long-player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. In the Top Latin Albums chart, it ranked no. 8. Vaina Loca is the Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. Mala Influencia was his collaboration with Noriel in the year 2020. Following that year, Dopamina was his follow-up album. In 2021 he produced the duet to TINI's smash song Maldita Foto. 2000 which included the smash song La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was raised in an musical family. His older brother and mother are also musicians. Turizo has told interviews that music is a must. As a child, was playing the ukulele as well as piano. Though his original career plan was to be a veterinarian for animals but his brother Julian convinced him to try studying singing with a Cuban. This transformed his life forever.
