Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish to mean "Rosalia") is Rosalia Vila is a Spanish singer and songwriter from Spain. She is a Flamenco and Pop artist. Since her teenage years, Rosalia Vila is a part of popular music as well as flamenco. Her music also strays into different genres such as hip-hop soul and trap. Her voice has been described by no less a talent than Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sharp and sweet but with a bite like the old ones. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough that topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually winning the Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami will be her third album. She collaborated with many performers and musicians including Cory Henry. The album was released on March 20, 2022, after the show of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing solo on the show. Motomami was the sole female in the history of music to be a winner of the Latin Album of the Year two times as well as the three Latin Grammy Awards.
